PYTHA Lab GmbH is an established software house headquartered in Aschaffenburg, Germany – and the software PYTHA is 100% made in Germany.
History
The PYTHA software company was founded in 1978, driven by the idea to develop professional 3D CAD software that is easy to learn, fun to use, and completely Made in Germany.
The PYTHA developers have always been pioneers, consistently one step ahead of the market. Already in 1985 they presented their first color renderer. PYTHA Lab was one of the first CAD providers to develop a fast raytracer, as well as introduce virtual reality and radiosity technology.
In honor of PYTHA’s 12th anniversary in 1994, Prof. Konrad Zuse – the German inventor of the computer – was the keynote speaker at the celebration in Aschaffenburg.

PYTHA Lab is a market leader in 3D CAD systems with real-time visualization for interior design, the woodworking industry and architecture – and proud that PYTHA is a German-developed product.
Alongside technological development, PYTHA Lab has expanded its distribution network worldwide. Today, PYTHA 3D CAD is used by customers across Europe, Japan, Australia, Brazil, South Africa, India, China, South East Asia and the Middle East.

PYTHA Lab also provides licenses to Bavarian correctional facilities, giving inmates the opportunity to gain vocational training.
